Constructing House in OSRS

Last week, I played OSRS with my friend. We're both handsome boys who are brave, intellegent and very manly. One day, we were playing our favorite game together as usual. We have no life because this game is so awesome that it takes all of our time to do nothing but catching chickens, chopping trees and killing dwarves.

After we grinded for hours, We had to go back home because it was dark and raining outside. When I looked at my bank account, I saw that I had 10M GP! So I decided to spend them on something fun before bed time. And of course the best thing to buy in OSRS is a house!

Understand the house construction process

The very first thing you have to do before you buy a house is understand how the process works. There are a lot of things related to this which should be known very well, so here I will explain it all for you!

First of all, there are 3 different types of houses that can be purchased in the Grand Exchange. They are small, medium and large. The size of the house depends on the amount of rooms it has.

Although your house can have 6 rooms, you can only make 4 of them! To do this you'll need a Construction level of 50 or higher to make all 4 rooms. You can check how many rooms your house has by walking into it and then looking at the top left corner of your screen.

How to move your house osrs

There are two ways to move your house. The first one is by paying 1,000gp per square of the house you wish to move! If you want to disconnect a small room from the rest of your house, it will cost you 2,000gp.

The second way is for free but there are some requirements that have to be met! First of all, the room you want to move should be empty. If it's not, then your house will have a "connection/room" that can't be moved until you've removed everything from it. Also, there should be no objects on top of your house portal.

If everything is ready for moving, just click on the portal and choose "I would like to move this house."

How much does it cost to build a small, medium or large house?

Let's begin with small housings. To buy the first level of a small housing you must pay: 100k gp. But remember! Each time you want to upgrade your house, you must pay the full amount of gp to buy the next level. So if you want to go from small house level one to two, then you'll need 200k gp.

To get your first room for your small house, it costs 50k gp. And each time you want to upgrade, same as before (50kgp per room).

For the medium version, the price is a bit higher. To get your first level of a small house it's going to cost you 250k gp. And each time you want an upgrade, it will be the same as before (250kgp per room).

Acquire materials and supplies

Now that you have the money for your house, you should buy it quickly before someone else buys it! But before doing this, there are a few things you need to know about. First of all, keep in mind that when buying materials for your house construction is that they are very expensive.

Conclusion

So there you go, that's how you buy a house in OSRS. You've got your money, you've chosen the house and now all that's left is to start building it! I hope this article has helped you understand better of what buying a house means. If you have any questions or suggestions, do not hesitate to leave them in the comments.
